[0001] The invention relates to a working machine, in particular in the form of a dump truck or a truck, with a top plate on which one can walk and which is arranged at the front above a bumper and with a driver's cabin disposed on the side of the upper tray with at least one step-type access system disposed in front of the driver's cab.
[0002] Tipper trucks or large dump trucks are used primarily for the extraction of coal or the extraction of ores for the transportation of coal, minerals and ores. These bulk trucks are manufactured in sizes from over 90 t (90,000 kg) up to multiples of 100 t in weight and load, so they have very large overall dimensions.
[0003] A large radiator is typically arranged above the bumper in the working machine portion at the front in the direction of travel and an upper platform on which one can walk is disposed above it. The driver's cab is typically arranged on the side above one of the wheels at the top plate. An access system that typically includes ladders or steps must be provided for staff because of the height of these large work machines. Such access systems for large work machines are subject to increasingly stringent security requirements.
[0004] A working machine of this category having an access system is known, for example, from US 2012/0068432 A1. A dump truck here comprises corresponding access steps which lead to a platform arranged in front of the gate of FIG. radiator of the dump truck. To this end, the steps are arranged partly laterally close to the radiator, being bent 90 ° in the platform area and supported on the platform directly in front of the radiator grille. This means that the personnel must generally mount on the working machine in front of the radiator. However, for safety reasons, it is not desirable to mount on the working machine in the area in front of the radiator.
[0005] The object of the present invention is to improve a work machine of this class so that it has a safe access system which is comfortable to use without disturbing the view of the staff in the driver's cabin.
[0006] The object of the invention is achieved with a working machine, in particular in the form of a dump truck or a truck, with an upper platform on which one can walk and which is arranged at the front above of a bumper and with a driver's cab disposed on the side of the upper plate with at least one step-type access system arranged in front of the driver's cab, an intermediate bearing, lower than the upper plate, being arranged according to the present invention in front of the driver's cabin from which steps lead in all cases laterally to the upper plate while steps, that is to say, other steps, oriented forward in the direction of travel of the vehicle, drive from the intermediate landing at least to the bumper. Seen from the front, when the working machine according to the present invention is provided with two sets of steps leading to the upper plate, it results from this a Y-shaped step arrangement. The staff can climb on the landing intermediate from the front by the steps and then can choose one of two sets of steps on the side to get to the top plateau.
[0007] The intermediate bearing is advantageously arranged lower with respect to the upper plate at which the driver's cab is located. Thanks to this, the driver's view is not hindered by a person standing on the intermediate landing. In addition, it is certain that corresponding handrails that are provided in the area of the intermediate bearing do not extend into the field of view of the driver's cab.
[0008] The present invention also relates to the following features, taken separately or in any technically possible combination:
[0009] the inclination of the steps has a constant value between 40 ° and 50 °, preferably 45 °; by this, a constant inclination for the staff to go up and down is arranged, which ensures secure access;
[0010] according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a part of steps which is adapted to be lowered and which is preferably controlled hydraulically, joins the steps oriented forwards in the direction of movement; in the forward direction, and extends the steps, as requested, from the bumper to the ground;
[0011] - An emergency ladder which is adapted to be deployed to the ground, is arranged in the bumper area; this is of particular importance when the step portion adapted to be lowered is pivoted upwards and can not be lowered from this area;
[0012] - Handrails are advantageously arranged laterally to the steps to meet the usual safety standards;
[0013] according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, an additional bearing can be arranged at the level of the bumper;
[0014] according to this embodiment, which comprises a second intermediate bearing at the level of the bumper, a pivoting ladder can also be pivotally attached to the intermediate bearing in place of the part of stairs which can be lowered, said ladder being adapted to to be pivoted downwards with respect to the intermediate bearing, · alternatively, the ladder may also be pivoted to an upwardly pivoted position with respect to the intermediate bearing; in this position, it can also constitute part of the safety ramp otherwise surrounding the platform;
[0015] it is particularly preferred that an emergency ladder or emergency steps facing forwards in the direction of travel extend from the top plate on the opposite side from the driver's cabin to a landing intermediary arranged at the bumper, such second access must be provided for safety reasons to allow a safe descent also when, for example, a tire is in flames or another problem occurs, for example, on one side of the vehicle ;
[0016] - According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention a ladder can be pivotally attached to the intermediate bearing provided at the bumper, so that it can be pivoted from a position pivoted downwards relative to the intermediate bearing to a position pivoted upwards relative to the intermediate bearing; - According to yet another embodiment of the invention, the inclination of the emergency steps can be chosen to be greater than that of the step system arranged in front of the driver's cab.
[0017] Other features, details and advantages of the invention are described with the aid of the embodiment shown in the drawings, where,
[0018] - Figures 1 to 4 are representations of a dump truck according to the present invention in different views; and
[0019] Figures 5a to 9b are detail views of the front portion of a dump truck into corresponding perspective views. In Figures 1-4, a dump truck 10 is shown. This is what we call a big dump truck as it is used in ore mines. Front wheels 14 and rear wheels 16, driven by electric motors not shown in more detail, are mounted on a rigid frame 12. A bucket 18 is pivotally mounted on the frame and can be tilted by corresponding lifting cylinders 20 . The vehicle is defined by the bumper 22 in the front zone of the vehicle in the direction of travel, that is to say in the direction of the forward movement of the vehicle. A radiator module 24 is arranged above the bumper 22. An upper plate 26 extends over the width of the dump truck above the radiator module 24. A driver's cab 28 is arranged on one side of the upper plate 26. In the embodiment shown here, the driver's cab is disposed on the left side seen in the direction of travel. Thus, the driver's cab 28 is located above the left front wheel 14.
[0020] The dump truck 10 includes an access system 30 through which personnel can climb from the front of the floor to the upper deck 26.
[0021] The access system 30 is shown in a first variant embodiment in FIGS. 5a, 5b and 6a and 6b. Only the front of the dump truck, otherwise not shown, are represented in the views' corresponding in perspective in these figures. As first seen in FIGS. 5a and 5b, the driver's cab 28 is arranged laterally on the top plate 26 on the left side in the direction of travel so that the driver's cab 28 is accessible from both sides. . Thus, a door 32 is provided as a conductive gate on the side of the driver's cab 28 to the left in the direction of displacement and another door 34 is provided as a passenger door on the side of the 'driver's cab 28 to the right in the direction of travel. Access hatches 36 and 38 are arranged on the upper plate to give access to the engine after the corresponding opening thereof. Maintenance work can thus be performed from the upper plate.
[0022] In any case, the upper plate is laterally surrounded by safety grids 40. Both the driver and the passenger can each comfortably fit in the driver's cab 28 by the corresponding doors 32 and 34.
[0023] An intermediate bearing 42 lowered relative to the upper plate 26 is arranged in front of the driver's cab 28. Steps 44 and 46 respectively extend laterally to the upper plate 26 from the intermediate bearing 42, as can be seen in the figures 5a, 5b. The personnel can thus arrive at the upper plate 26 and thus at the door 36 of the driver's cab 28, on the one hand from the intermediate bearing 42 by the steps 44. On the other hand, the personnel can arrive at the upper plate 26 and at the door 34 of the driver's cab 28 by the steps 46. Access to both sides of the driver's cab or to the other areas of the top plate is easy to the same degree thanks to the symmetrical arrangement of the steps in each direction .
[0024] Steps 48 facing forwards in the direction of travel extend from the intermediate bearing 42 to the bumper 22. The Y shape, in a front view, results from the arrangement of the steps 48, 44 and 46 to each other. In the embodiment according to Figures 5a and 5b and 6a and 6b, a portion of steps 50, adapted to be lowered, is disposed at the steps 48 in the area of the bumper 22. This portion of steps 50 overcomes the space intermediate between the upper edge of the bumper 22 on the ground. In the embodiment shown here, the steps 50 are pivoted about a pivot support (not shown in detail here) from the lowered position according to Figs. 5a and 5b to an upwardly pivoted position according to Figs. 6a. and 6b. The pivoting mechanism can be actuated by a hydraulic pivoting apparatus in a manner not shown in detail.
[0025] In the upwardly rotated position shown in FIGS. 6a and 6b, the planes of the steps 50 are arranged above the planes of the steps 48, since the staff can now walk on the rear face of the plans of the steps 50 to high, at the end of the bumper 22. This means that one can also walk on all of the steps 48, 50, at least up to the bumpers 22, in the pivoted upward position of the steps 50.
[0026] In order to be able to overcome also the intermediate space between the bumper 22 and the ground, even when the pivoting mechanism steps 50 no longer works, an emergency scale 52 can be provided according to the variant of the mode of embodiment of Figures 9a and 9b, the emergency scale being adapted to be placed against the bumper or to be deployed downwardly therefrom.
[0027] In place of the pivoting mechanism of the steps 50 shown in FIGS. 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b, a sliding mechanism may also be provided which makes it possible to slide the steps 50 on the steps 48.
[0028] Handrails 54 are provided for all the steps 44, 46, 48 and 50. The handrails 54 of the steps 48 and 50 are arranged thereon so that they can not interfere with each other in a pivot towards the top of the steps 50.
[0029] The steps 44, 46, 48 and 50 of the access system 30 are all arranged with a 45 degree inclination.
[0030] The distances between the planes are constant so that the staff can walk comfortably on them.
[0031] In addition to the access system 30, the dump truck 10 also includes emergency steps 60 which lead from the upper plate 26 to a second intermediate bearing 56 arranged at the bumper. The emergency steps 60 have a greater inclination than the steps 44, 46, 48 and 50. They are arranged on the opposite side with respect to the climbing system 30, that is to say above the right front wheel 14 , seen in the direction of displacement. In case of a tire in flames on the left side, the staff can leave the dump truck 10 safely by these emergency steps 60.
[0032] The second intermediate bearing 56 extends in the variant embodiment shown here up to the radiator module 24 and allows maintenance work on the air filters 58 arranged under the upper plate 26.
[0033] Another alternative embodiment according to the present invention is shown in FIGS. 7a, 7b, 8a and 8b. This embodiment substantially corresponds to that according to Figures 5a, 5b, 6a and 6b and one can refer to the corresponding description. The only difference consists in the fact that the steps 48 lead from the intermediate bearing 42 to a third bearing 62 which is arranged at the level of the bumper 22. Only a scale 64 pivotally mounted leads the bumper 22, and more specifically the bearing intermediate 62 shown here in the embodiment, on the ground. In Figs. 7a and 7b, this additional ladder 64 is shown in the downward rotated position. In FIGS. 8a and 8b, on the other hand, the ladder 64 is pivoted upwards and is secured in this position so that it constitutes at the same time a protection ramp for the front face of the intermediate bearing 62. A pivoting ladder corresponding 66 also leads to the ground from the second intermediate bearing 56 arranged under the emergency scale 60. This scale 66 can be secured in the upwardly pivoted position (see Figure 8b) in the same way as the scale 64 .
[0034] In the access system according to the invention, the lowered level of the intermediate bearing 42, which is arranged a few steps below the floor of the driver's cab 28, provides a better view of the driver forwards since the handrails respectively 40 and 54 are not located directly in the driver's field of vision in front of the cabin but rather arranged lower or on the side of the cabin.
